Can you stop a foreclosure?

Can a home buyer stop a foreclosure?

No buyer can promise that. A completed sale that pays off the loan before the foreclosure sale ends the foreclosure, but only if it closes in time and the lender issues a payoff.

What legally can stop or pause one?

Reinstating the loan, an approved workout, a lender-agreed postponement, a court order, or a bankruptcy filing can affect a sale. Speak with a licensed Texas attorney about which might apply to you.
